Wade brings more than 27 years of corporate and regulatory experience across the financial services, fintech, and real estate sectors. He has served as general counsel and senior legal advisor to growth-stage and mid-market companies, public institutions, and investment groups, guiding organizations through complex transactions, governance, compliance, and capital structure challenges.
Before founding ODGC, Wade led legal and compliance operations for multiple development and finance entities, structuring capital raises, managing investor relations, and advising boards on governance and regulatory strategy. Earlier in his career, he served as corporate and securities counsel for one of the largest publicly traded banks, where he oversaw SEC filings, corporate governance, and M&A transactions exceeding $3 billion.
Wade is admitted to practice in Idaho, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York, and is a Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP) through the FINRA Institute at Wharton. He is also a CIPP–US candidate with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Founder and Principal Attorney
Jeff is a highly accomplished attorney and executive with over three decades of experience in secured financing, commercial real estate, corporate transactions and general counsel work. He is AV® Peer Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has served as both outside counsel and in-house general counsel for major national enterprises. Jeff’s background includes representing lenders, borrowers, investors and other parties in complex secured financings, acquisitions, and developments exceeding several billions of dollars in value. As General Counsel for a national real estate syndicator, he built and led a 20-member legal department for a 21-million-square-foot real estate portfolio across 35 states. In private practice, Jeff has led hundreds of high-value financing and real estate transactions involving national banks, developers, institutional and agricultural clients. From 2019 to 2023 he served as the Chief Legal Officer for a real estate investment and development firm that employed over 1,000 individuals in the acquisition, development and operation of over 8500 hotel keys and 7300 multi-family residential units throughout the country. He has also acted as a court-appointed receiver and turnaround consultant for distressed companies and real estate projects throughout the western United States. Jeff is admitted to practice law in Idaho and Utah. He brings a solution-oriented, business-centric approach to every engagement—delivering practical, high-impact counsel that advances business objectives while managing risk effectively.
